2016 SUMMER TUTORING
The Fletcher School Summer Tutoring Program provides students an opportunity to maintain and
improve academic skills during the summer. Students benefit from reinforcement of newly learned
skills and remediation of weaknesses using multisensory techniques of instruction.
One-on-one tutoring by Fletcher School teachers will be available throughout the summer. Tutoring
sessions are designed to meet the individual needs of the student in phonics, reading comprehension,
written expression, math, study skills/learning strategies and high school academic subjects as
requested.
Flexible hourly tutoring sessions can be arranged in the morning or the afternoon to suit your child’s
schedule. Schedule requests should take into consideration vacation, camps, and other plans to
prevent missed sessions. Sessions canceled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged at the
hourly rate of $65.00.
Tutoring by Fletcher teachers will take place on campus using appropriate Fletcher School materials.
Students will be placed with a tutor by the Tutoring Coordinator. Parents should not contact teachers
directly to set up tutoring.

Cost: $65.00 per hour
1. The registration deadline for summer tutoring is Friday, June 3, 2016. Upon receipt of a
completed Registration Form and deposit of $65.00, the assigned tutor will contact the parent to
arrange a mutually agreed upon schedule. The deposit will be applied to the first hour of tutoring.
2. Billing statements will be emailed and mailed on the 10th of the month for hours tutored the
previous month. Payment is due upon receipt.
3. Students may not arrive earlier than 5 minutes prior to the start of their tutoring time.
4. Students may not stay on campus if they are not attending a tutoring session.
5. Dress during the summer is informal and comfortable, but students must dress in a manner that
indicates pride in themselves. Footwear must be worn at all times.
6. Smoking is strictly prohibited on campus.
