A new standard in weight activation
Mimeo’s recline tension has been engineered to automatically
adjust to the specific needs and body weight of each user
without the need for manual adjustment.
The innovative weight-activated chair motion delivers the
appropriate amount of tension for full recline, upright sitting,
and every posture in between. As you effortlessly recline, the
seat lifts your bodyweight, which modifies the amount of
tension accordingly. The result is a personalized, balanced
recline that allows for comfortable and healthy movement for
any body, in any posture.

DESIGN FEATURES
Mimeo’s innovative back-pattern design provides integrated
lumbar support while accommodating every movement. The
generous seat width and slightly curved arms invite unrestricted
movement and comfort for all postures and body types. Mimeo
is lightweight and easy to transport with an integrated back
handle, bringing function to any space, effortlessly.
Optional adjustable lumbar support
Mimeo provides automatic lumbar support. To accommodate
personal preference, an optional external lumbar support can be
added at any time.
4D adjustable arms
Mimeo’s open arm design moves with you as you recline to
support your arms in a variety of postures. Adjustments in four
directions allow support during work tasks, and the ability to
position arms close to the body.
Fixed arms
Provide basic support for users engaging in a variety of tasks
throughout the day. Arms come with protective black urethane
arm pads. Fixed arms limit adjustability but provide consistent
aesthetics in conference room settings.
Pneumatic seat height adjustment
Regulates height of task chair relative to the floor. Standard 5"
of travel accommodates average to tall users. Stools offer 10" of
travel.
Base and casters
Task chair bases are a five-star design. Dual-wheel casters are
available in hard tread for carpet, or multi‑surface for any floor
surface.
Materials
• All COMs/COLs must be approved for upholsterability or
applicable fire code compliance prior to order entry. See pages
276-277 for COM ordering instructions.
• Allsteel fabrics meet requirements for CTB117. Contact
Allsteel Customer Support for CTB133. COM/COL
manufacturers supply certificates of compliance for fabriconly tests such as CTB117. Allsteel must test a complete chair
to supply a certificate of compliance with CTB133.
