To Business Management Ethics in America 6) Modification of Associate Degrees and/or Certificate Programs Chemical Laboratory Technology (AS) – change in selective BIOL 230 FROM 4 TO 5 units and change title FROM Introduction to Cell Biology TO Cell and Molecular Biology – Approved Chemical Laboratory Technology (Certificate) ) – change in selective BIOL 230 FROM 4 TO 5 units and change title FROM Introduction to Cell Biology TO Cell and Molecular Biology – Approved Interdisciplinary Studies - Natural Science and Mathematics (AA) – added BIOL 132 to the list of Introductory Biology Course a student may choose, changed the number for MATH 210 TO MATH 222 – Approved Preparation for Scholarship and Success (PASS) (Certificate) – removed 1 unit selective requirement for CRER courses, change the number of units for selectives to 4 units, and added CRER courses to the list of selectives with CBOT and LIBR courses - Approved 8) Information/Discussion Item There was continued discussion of the current layout of the AA/AS Degree General Degree Pattern requirement. The subcommittee will meet again to incorporate the suggested additions/corrections. The committee was asked to further review the General Education Area requirement and AA/AS degree requirement. It was announced that Curriculum Institute will take place on July 8-10, 2010 at the Santa Clara Marriott. The committee was encouraged to participate in the event and to register early.
