requirement for CRER courses, change the number of units for selectives to 4 units, and added
CRER courses to the list of selectives with CBOT and LIBR courses - Approved
8) Information/Discussion Item

There was continued discussion of the current layout of the AA/AS Degree General Degree
Pattern requirement. The subcommittee will meet again to incorporate the suggested
additions/corrections. The committee was asked to further review the General Education
Area requirement and AA/AS degree requirement.

It was announced that Curriculum Institute will take place on July 8-10, 2010 at the Santa
Clara Marriott. The committee was encouraged to participate in the event and to register
early.

The committee was advised to review the Carnegie unit calculation to understand units vs.
credit hours.
