Please note: Racing Queensland Limited is both legally and ethically obliged to only re-home dogs that have
an even temperament and that are safe around adults, children and other dogs (including small breeds) i.e.
they have passed the GAP Behavior Assessment ®. For further information please contact GAP.
If your dog is still racing at the time of application, you must inform GAP when the dog has
finished racing or trailing. The dog must have rested for a minimum of 4 weeks before entering
GAP kennels.

As GAP is not for profit, relying solely on funding to cover costs, a compulsory fee of $50
must be paid on entry to the program.
All greyhounds must enter the program with “proof” of current vaccination, a minimum of
C5 level is required.
I understand that in the event that this dog is determined to be unsuitable for rehoming by
GAP it will be humanely euthanized without my notification.
Greyhound must be presented muzzled, collared and on a lead.
