Rules
1.1.
The event will be governed by the rules as defined in the
Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
1.2.
In RRS 44.1 the Two-Turns Penalty is altered to One-Turn
Penalty
1.3.
Sailing Instruction Appendix P will apply. P2.1 the Two-Turns
Penalty is changed to One-Turn Penalty and P2.3 is deleted
and P2.2 is valid for all subsequent protests

All boats shall in accordance with ISAF Regulation 20 display
advertising provided if so decided by the event organizer.

Eligibility requirements

Race format
2.1.
Competitors shall comply with ISAF Regulation 19.
7.1.
2.2.
Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third party
liability insurance.
2.3.
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk.
See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not
accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or
death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after
the regatta.
If the number of participating boats exceeds 50 the boats will
be divided into smaller fleets for a series of qualifying races,
the results of which determine each boat’s assignment to two
fleets for the final series. Details will be described in the sailing
instructions.
8.
Racing area
8.1.
The racing areas will be outside Råå marina.
9.
The course
9.1.
Windward-leeward course will be sailed.
10.
Protests and penalty systems
The advance entry shall include the following: Name of
crewmembers and their age, belonging yacht club and country,
sail and hull number and Mail addresses.

11.
Scoring
The entry fee is 500 SEK and shall be paid to RJK – Råå

Jolleklubb no later than July 30 2009.
11.1.
The low point scoring system of RRS Appendix A will apply,
modified so that when three or fewer races have been
completed; a boat’s series score will be the total of her race
scores.
11.2.
Three races are required to be completed to constitute a
championship.

Prizes will be given to every five participants in following
