Accordingly the students of this program, must have competence in the field of culture and identity. Besides, cultural identity is one of the fastest growing and actual problems of the modern world, which promotes increasing the persons interested in this problem. The aim of the teaching course is to introduce and teach the students the subject and objectives of identity of culture, field concepts, terminology and basic teaching methods. Give a general idea of identity, specifically of the notion of cultural identity, its importance in regarding to the various elements of culture, the broader context in which the notion of identity is used, different levels of identity, the growing actuality and role of culture and identity in the modern world. Teaching course - Introduction to the Science of Culture Field competencies A) Knowledge and Understanding After completion of the teaching course the student will have a broad knowledge in the field of culture and identity, including a critical understanding of theories and principles; understanding complex issues of culture and identity; Learning outcomes / sectoral and general competencie B) Ability of usage of knowledge in practice After completion of the teaching course the student will have the skills of usage of distinctive methods characterized the field of culture and identity for solving the problems. Can implement research or practical project in accordance with the instructions specified in advance by the lecturer; General Competencies C) the ability of Concussion The student has the skills of collecting and interpretation of data characterized the field of culture and identity, as well as the ability to establish a wellfounded conclusion based on the analysis of situations; D) Values After completion of the teching course the student will be able to participate with the pupils (people) of different cultural identities in the formation of cultural values and to strive to maintain them.
