Solvent Thinners TS Series
Reducers for Solvent based Screen Inks
Sun Chemical use a numbered referencing system for screen ink reducers. This allows easy selection of the
correct reducer for each ink range and simplifies order processing.
Reducers with a TS prefix are for use with solvent based inks; those with a TU prefix are for use with UV curing
inks and are covered by a separate data sheet.
A selection of solvent reducers is available for each ink range to cater for all print and drying conditions.
The tables overleaf detail the complete range of available solvent reducers and their applications.

found in the appropriate ink series Product Data sheets.
SCREEN WASHES:
Although some reducers are suitable for washing up and screen cleaning, a comprehensive range of screenwashes are available which are specifically formulated for optimum performance and are more economical in use.

SHELF LIFE:
TS Series:
When stored in closed containers at 5 - 30°C a shelf life of up to 5 years can be expected.
SAFETY AND HANDLING:
Before using any TS coded product it is important to refer to the relevant Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS),
which details any hazards associated with using the product and provides handling advice. Sun Chemical Strongly
recommends that appropriate protective clothing such as goggles and gloves be worn when handling these
products.
