Directions!

This lesson was inspired by the leveled readers attached from
Science A to Z. Students will walk around the room scanning the QR
codes on a scavenger hunt. Upon scanning the QR code they will see
the definition of a word that they would find in a Food Chain unit of
study. On their sheet they will place the number of the QR code next
to the word on the paper that it matches. !

The last three QR codes that are labeled, L, M and H are
representative of low, medium and high leveled readers. These can
be viewed prior to the students doing the scavenger hunt or after. !

Extension: Have students create a presentation using iMovie,
Popplet, Educreations or other media tool to demonstrate their
understanding of Food Chains. !!
