Colosseum Ngatapa netball team one
The top Ngatapa netball team has started the season in fine form with many of the experienced
Ngatapa players from the 2011 season returning and combining with five players from the
Thistle Premiere team of 2011 – hence making a strong, competitive and skilled team.

We have been pre-season training since mid-February with Kaiti Hill fitness runs and beach
sessions. We are now concentrating on skill-based trainings which occur every Tuesday at 6pm
at Illminster Gym. The team has had two pre-season games, the first against HSOG One and the
second against Tatapouri Thistle. We have entered into the Kathleen Henderson Tournament
on Saturday 31st March and will be featuring in the A grade. From there competition starts on
April the 14th.
As the coach I would like to acknowledge my manager Cherie Richardson. We are both very
much looking forward to the 2012 netball season and are excited by the quality of netball
already on display by our girls.
We welcome all supporters down to the courts on Saturday mornings and wish all other codes
of sport well in their season.
