Rules relating to this Show & Sale in particular: A vendor may only show 2 sheep in each class. Although the byelaws state that sheep must be registered by 21 days before the date of the sale, the catalogue for this sale is produced directly from the Grassroots database and it is imperative that registrations are lodged with Grassroots either electronically or on paper (marked as including sheep for the sale) by the closing date of 28 June 2017. It is the vendor’s and purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that all DEFRA rules and regulations are adhered to, with regard to movement of sheep at the time. Food will be available all day on Tuesday, 1st August in the canteen. Vendors should ensure that their sheep are identified with the auctioneer's lot number tags as soon as possible to aid both the inspectors and potential purchasers. ALL SHEEP SOLD, MUST BE SOLD IN THE SALE RING OR THROUGH THE AUCTIONEER’S OFFICE The catalogue will be produced directly from the Grassroots Database. If your sheep is not registered before the deadline it cannot be accepted in the sale. The Tay Sachs status of all sheep either tested clear or from tested clear parents is now shown by suffixes to the registered number. These will automatically be included in the catalogue from the database so no entry in the notes boxes is necessary. To assist the compiling of the catalogue it would be greatly appreciated if we could receive your entries sooner rather than later! No late entries will be accepted
