introductory courses in Geology], Chem courses that require CHEM 108, CHEM 332, CHEM 335, other courses only by approval of
faculty advisor.
Biology electives 300 level and above [Option 1 – 24 credits, Option 2 – 20 credits). At least four of the courses with lab / field component
Only up to 8 credits of Biology can come from BIOL 494, 495, 496, 497, 498. A total of two lab / field requirements can come from BIOL 495, 497, 498.

*Students who come into Harpur College starting Fall 2009 will take Mathematics 148 (a statistics
course for biologists). Students who arrived earlier and have not taken Mathematics 147 are
strongly advised to take Mathematics 148. It will be the more relevant course.
