Negotiation skills and the Negotiation Challenge first round RULES 1. Students must form teams of no more than four. 2. Teams are allowed fifty minutes, following presentation of the dilemmas, to discuss their proposed answers and arguments for them. 3. Immediately after the hour, teams must present their case and argument for each dilemma to the judges (Academy lecturer and CIPS member), without being overheard by their competitors. 4. There must be no conferring between teams 5. Teams gain one point for each correct answer, twenty nine points are available overall. The winning team is the one with the most points, in the event of a tie, the judges will decide which team gave the most convincing arguments for their answers. 6. Each team must submit a video of the presentation of their answers and reasoning and upload them to youtube for CIPS to access by the end of 18 May. CIPS judges will then choose the best eight submissions to go through to the final. 1
