Reviewed Summary of Last Meeting Consumers Solar Garden Update At the moment, there are no solid commitments from owners for hosting a large (3-7acre) solar system though some interest and potential still exists. We discussed the possibilities of: Pursuing a community solar project with help from other organizations/project developer/managers Continuing to promote the idea – including Consumers solar gardens (“shares” will be available to any Consumers Energy customer) Promoting and staying informed about legislation/policies that favor renewables/efficiency Energy Education Sessions 3.
