Consumers Solar Garden Update
At the moment, there are no solid commitments from owners for hosting a large (3-7acre) solar system
though some interest and potential still exists. We discussed the possibilities of:
 Pursuing a community solar project with help from other organizations/project developer/managers
 Continuing to promote the idea – including Consumers solar gardens (“shares” will be available to any
Consumers Energy customer)
 Promoting and staying informed about legislation/policies that favor renewables/efficiency
