Our exam schedule is included at the end of this newsletter. Wildcat Athletics 2016! Hello everyone, welcome to 2016 with the Andrew Wildcats. The first half of the school season was quite exciting for our volleyball teams. Our Junior Boys team finished the regular season in first place going undefeated and had a strong second place finish in the championship game. Our Junior Girls team started off the year with a district wide EIPS Volleyball Tournament win, they capped off their undefeated season with an EIPS Championship trophy. The hard work of these players and their coaches helped to cement Andrew School as a Volleyball Powerhouse. 2016 will be a great year with our Junior Boys Basketball team leading the way for the Wildcats. The boys from Grades 5 to 8 will be working hard to Archery Club Archery season is in full swing. This year we have about 15 students participating with three coaches; Ms. Sydor, Ms. Sanderson, and Mr. Cruickshank. This year we practice on Monday and Thursday and are currently working on getting comfortable from 15M and adjusting our form to have a consistent grouping. In March we will be attending Nationals at the Edmonton Boat and Sportsman Show. We also plan on improve their skills and continue to grow as all around athletes. The EIPS tournament is Jan 7/8/9, and the Wildcat invitational is scheduled for Feb 19/20. Following the Basketball season, Badminton will be starting up with athletes from Grades 5-12; and coaches Mr. Gobbels and Mr. Hazlehurst anxiously waiting for the season to start. We are looking forward to seeing you all out cheering on our teams as the school year continues. Mess 29th as our students will be busy studying for exams up that beautiful head of hair and show your spirit! Andrew Municipal Public Library Clerk Roseann Weleschuk Parishes Donate to Breakfast For Learning Members of the Century Orthodox Parishes Social Club stopped by Andrew School on Monday, January 4, 2016 with a $200.00 cheque in hand. This generous donation is earmarked for the Andrew School Breakfast For Learning program. The money will be used to purchase supplies such as yogurt, cheese, bread, milk, fruit, etc. Breakfast is available to all students as they begin each school day.
