Wildcat Athletics 2016!
Hello everyone, welcome to 2016 with the Andrew
Wildcats. The first half of the school season was quite
exciting for our volleyball teams. Our Junior Boys team
finished the regular season in first place going
undefeated and had a strong second place finish in the
championship game. Our Junior Girls team started off
the year with a district wide EIPS Volleyball
Tournament win, they capped off their undefeated
season with an EIPS Championship trophy. The hard
work of these players and their coaches helped to
cement Andrew School as a Volleyball Powerhouse.
2016 will be a great year with our Junior Boys
Basketball team leading the way for the Wildcats. The
boys from Grades 5 to 8 will be working hard to

Archery season is in full swing. This year we have
about 15 students participating with three coaches; Ms.
Sydor, Ms. Sanderson, and Mr. Cruickshank. This year
we practice on Monday and Thursday and are
currently working on getting comfortable from 15M
and adjusting our form to have a consistent grouping.
In March we will be attending Nationals at the
Edmonton Boat and Sportsman Show. We also plan on
improve their skills and continue to grow as all around
athletes. The EIPS tournament is Jan 7/8/9, and the
Wildcat invitational is scheduled for Feb 19/20.
Following the Basketball season, Badminton will be
starting up with athletes from Grades 5-12; and
coaches Mr. Gobbels and Mr. Hazlehurst anxiously
waiting for the season to start. We are looking forward
to seeing you all out cheering on our teams as the
