Through the Sports Club, we teach the students how to play
Throw Ball and develop physical fitness, goal setting, agility, hand
and body co-ordination, discipline, how to deal with triumph and
defeat & build team spirit in them.

Playing Throw ball on a regular basis is one way to increase one’s physical
activity level, which will help to get fit and toned, as well as healthy and
energetic.
During the months of June and July students were taught the skills of
one hand service and to serve without crossing the service line to improve their
hand and body co-ordination.
During the months of August and September, the students were taught to
play without the assistance of the body and legs and also to play without
juggling between hands. They learnt these skills enthusiastically and
performed well.
As with any high intensity sport, there are many cardiovascular benefits of Throw
ball. They were also taught to play without pushing and juggling the ball also releasing it
within 3 seconds .This boosts their aerobic capacity, energy levels and metabolism, which
in turn helps kids concentrate more in school.

Through the sports club, we teach the students how to play kho-kho
and develop physical fitness ,goal setting , agility ,hand and body
coordination , discipline , how to deal with triumph and defeat and
build team spirit in them.

Kho kho is a tag sport played by teams of twelve players, of which nine enter
the field, who try to avoid being touched by members of the opposing team.
Playing kho kho stimulates imagination and allows the players to adapt and
resolve problems. It arouses curiosity that results in creativity and discovery.
During the months of
June and July,
students were taught running and chasing as a part of the game through
which they acquired motor control, balance and hand and body coordination.
During the months of August and September they learnt the art of
running while avoiding the chasers and chasers tagging out runner as fast as
possible which enhanced their agility and body co-ordination. Apart from
learning these skills, they developed team spirit, discipline and social skills.
