Instruction manual before usage
Caution
This equipment is divided into four parts: ELectiric Light Synergy,
Radio Frequency, IPL, and Laser
Read carefully the instruction manual before using it, in order to get
familiar with all of the security demands and operating steps.
Any glare or radio frequency equipment can cause injure accidents if
it is used improperly.
Get familiar with the potential danger mentioned in this manual
before operating, and adopt corresponding safety protection
measures.
Safety Protection Demands:
This chapter mainly introduces safety protection of the equipment
in the process of using and maintenance.
System Safety Protection Demands:
Only specialized training personnel can use this equipment.
Operators and other personnel should get familiar with the safety
protection demands when they are operating or maintaining the
equipment. Above all, personnel should fully take the personnel
safety of operators and customers into account in the treatment.
Operators should ensure customers’ safety protection.
First of all, operators should ensure the personnel safety of
customers in the treatment. Operators should detailedly know
customers’ past medical history before using this equipment for
treatment, make sure whether customers can receive treatment,
require customers to fill in treatment agreement completely and
detailedly tell customers the relevant treatment methods and the side
effect and risk may be occurred in the treatment. Customers should
wear the specialized protection eye patches in the treatment.
Safety Protection for Operators
Do not operate the equipment without totally familiarity with the
equipment before using it. System operators should wear the
specialized protection eye patches in the treatment; there should be
evident glare sign in the equipment treatment room.
Safety Attentions
There are no servicing components for users except changing
water. Only professional technical personnel can overhaul this
equipment, especially the internal parts of the equipment. Users
should keep the delivery port of the treatment head clean. If any
leaking of the equipment or treatment head is discovered, users
should turn out the equipment at once and contact with the
manufacturer. The action of disassembling the equipment is
prohibited. The action of putting the treatment head contacts with
some hard goods is prohibited, or it may damage the electrode
delivery port of RF.
Photology Safety Protection
The glare may damage eye or cause amqsauq or burn, so you
should take some necessary safety protection measures in the area
that using this equipment. Over high power can cause thermal burn
to the treatment area, so operators in the operating room must wear
specialized protection glasses, and there must be evident glare
caution sign in the treatment room when they are using this
equipment. We should make sure all of the operators have already
expertly commanded the emergency measures in the emergency
situation. Using this equipment in the flammable and explosive
environment is prohibited. Looking directly at the delivery port of
treatment head is prohibited, even wearing protection glasses. The
treatment head should be hung over the equipment when it is not
used. The delivery port of treatment head should point at the
treatment parts during the treatment. There should not have any
jewelry or mirror or other light emission goods in the operating work
field.
Electric and Machine Safety
All of the vision and panel should be kept closed, making bold to
open the chassis can cause safety misadventure; hands should be
kept away from treatment head during the process of starting outfit;
the repairing work can only be done when the equipment is closed or
the power is cut; as the equipment is quite heavy, it may cause
personal injury accident if the displacement method is improperly, so
you must displace the equipment carefully; this equipment contacts
with earth through earth wire of power line, sound earth connection
is of critical significance to safe operation.
Fire Prevention
The absorption of light energy can elevate the temperature of
absorbing objects, so it is prohibited to use this equipment in
flammable and explosive environment. Please do not use flammable
materials when you are preparing skin treatment. If you clean and
sterilize the equipment by the use of alcohol, you must use the
equipment when it is completely dry.
System Safety Protection Methods
When all of the operators are operating this equipment, they
should get familiar with the safety protection methods: only starting
up key can open the equipment, and the key switch can only be
taken down in OFF condition. The equipment is installed with a red
emergency stop button. You can stop the equipment immediately by
pressing the button no matter in which kind of condition. Only if the
treatment head is connected with the equipment, the power source
can be turned on. The eradiating treatment can be started when the
standby condition of the equipment is turned into preparing
condition. The equipment will self-check its system when it is
started.
Equipment Classification
Electrical appliance protection: I type, BF type;
Feed liquor protection: common equipment;
This equipment is inappropriate to be used in the flammable and
explosive environment.
Operation model: succession
Equipment Installation
This equipment can be directly installed in the treatment room.
Users can install the equipment according to the following steps.
You should check whether there is any breakage in the equipment
and all of the fittings. Then you should open the radiator cap up in
counter-clockwise direction, put cooling water in, and screw on the
radiator cap in clockwise direction. Next, you should connect the
treatment head by inserting one side of the power line into the power
jack of the mainframe, and another side into the external power.
Then you should detect equipment and every operating function.
Electric Demands
The equipment has preset the rated voltage based on customers’
locus before it left the factory. The corresponding electric demands
of this equipment are as follows: single-phase 110v±15% AC; 15A;
60 Hz or single-phase 110v±15% AC; 10A; 50 Hz. In order to
prevent fire accidence, when you change protective tube, you
must change the protective tube of the same type. It can ensure
the function of self-protection. It is the basic guarantee of safety
operation when the equipment fully connected with earth.
There should not be any corrosive particle in the air of the
operation equipment room. It is because the corrosive particle
can cause the damage of all kinds of electric elements. The dust
in the air of operation equipment room should be as fewer as
possible. It is because the metallics in the dust can cause the
damage of electric elements. Other dust mites can absorb the
light energy and then be heated. However, the caloric dust
which attaches to the optical crystalloid can cause damage to the
optical crystalloid. The optimal environment temperature of the
equipment working is 20℃-25℃, and the relative humidity
cannot exceed 80%. In order to protect the cooling system from
frozen damage, it is prohibited to put the equipment with water
in the environment which the temperature is below 2℃.
Equipment Displacement
Displacement in the treatment room:
·power off
·disconnecting the power line
·hanging the treatment head in the equipment
·loosening the coaster brake
·pushing slowly the handle to displace the equipment
Displacing the equipment to other places
·power off
·disconnecting the power line
·dismounting the treatment head and putting it in the treatment head
box(this item is invalid to some instruments)
·blowing the cooling water of the equipment off
·loosening the coaster brake
·moving carefully the equipment to the conveyance and laying it
properly
When the equipment arrived at a new installation, users should
assemble it according to the installation requirement.
Equipment Operation
Power on/ off
Before operators turn on the equipment, they should make sure
the power line has connected with the convenience receptacle of the
mainframe and outside convenience receptacle. There are high
voltage in the inner equipment, the treatment head should be
connected in the equipment and hung over the pothook of the
equipment during the turning on process. The treatment head will
emit the high strength pulsed light during the treatment, so everyone
in the treatment room should wear specialized protection glasses
(people cannot look directly at the glare emitted from the treatment
head even wearing glasses). Eradiating excessive glare to the
treatment parts may cause skin temperature damage, and
consequently cause abnormal pigmentation, atrophy or large.
Operating Guidance
[ELectiric Light Synergy Part]
1. Standby Interface
You should turn on the power switch of the equipment. The
starting up【Function Selection】interface is shown in figure 1.

Then you should choose the corresponding function【E-LIGHT】
to enter into the workspace of this function. This interface mainly
shows the operating mode and frequency of the system, and the
current temperature, energy, point, refrigerating capacity, model,
pulse waveform of the system, etc. As shown in figure 2:

Working

Now you should press【ready】to enter the preparation interface,
close the operating switch under the preparation condition to process
treatment. As shown in figure 3

Now you should press【ENTER】on the standby condition to enter
the preparation interface, as shown in figure 6.

You should close the operating switch under preparation condition to
start treatment.
1. Capacity regulator
Firstly, you should press the substract key, then press
add-substract key within three minutes to increase or decrease
energy level.
2. Frequency adjustment
Firstly, you should press the substract key, then press
add-substract key within three minutes to increase or decrease the
glaring frequency.
3. Preparation before treatment
Operators should learn about whether customers are scar diathesis;
operators should observe whether customers have removed
eyebrow tattoo, made tattoo before in other means, and whether
there are existing scars. Operators should explain to customers
that after the tattoo removed, there may remain pigmentation.
These pigmentations are caused by solarization after tattoon.
Operators should explain to customers that the tattoo materials
may be compound colorant. There may remain coffee or red
colorant after the black blue was removed. Operators will use
green light for treatment after two months interval treatment.
Operators should illustrate the possible situation during the
treatment and after the treatment to the customers. (The situation
is as follows). In order to prevent the unnecessary disputes caused
by customers’ unknowing of the surgery situation, after surgery
reflection and recovery process. Before removing eyebrow tattoo,
operators can shave the eyebrows off for better observation
during the surgery.
4. The possible situation during surgery
When operators are treating the tissues of rather deep color and
layer, it may produce rather intense pigment burst with relative
strong noises because of the intense absorption of melanin to the
laser energy. The body tissues will produce swelling by reason of
pigment being shattered. The relative exterior pigment will form
exudation point by reason of absorbing energy and bursting out of
scarfskin.
The tissue color will become very light in the first laser
treatment, but after a while (over ten minutes to several quarters),
the tattoo color will recover to some extent. It is the normal
reaction of the tissue. The phagolysis and transportation function
of macrophage will sustain relative long time. During this period,
the tissue color will gradually become light. We suggest that the
second treatment should be processed two or three months after
the first treatment.
Particular stress: when operators are processing the surgery of
removing eyeline, eyeball must be absolutely protected by the use
of tarsi, or operators must be prohibited treatment!!!
5. The possible phenomena after surgery
The hair may be decolored or shed, but it can outgrow new hair in
about four weeks and it may be denser than before for a while,
and it can tend to normal gradually.
The extent of exudation and swelling in the treatment part varies
from person to person. People may feel itch after detumescence.
And people may have the situation of tissues becoming hard
when you touch it. All of these situations belong to the normal
reflection of tissues. All of the discomfort feelings will
completely disappear in about one week to one month. The time
varies from person to person.
6. medical advice after surgery
The infection behavior of penciling the eyebrows, washing and
others are prohibited in three to seven days; protecting oneself
from solarization; one of more bleeding and severe swelling can
take some antibiotic drug.
Appendix 2: the attention items of applying 532nm laser for treating
brown and red pigment
The laser of 532nm wavelength is the green visible laser. The
function of it to biological tissue has great distinction compared
with laser of 1064nm wavelength.
The hemoglobin in human body and the brown and red pigment
tattooed in the tissues have rather strong absorption to 532nm
laser. By reason of the color of normal skin tissue has certain
absorption to 532nm laser; the epidermal tissue may produce
vaporization in the surface layer through laser irradiation. The
tissues of subcutaneous capillary vessel and others can become
burst and form subcutaneous congestion after absorbing laser
irradiation. It is called purpura medically. After brown and red
pigments absorbed 532nm laser, they will become burst and be
popped out of body or be shattered so that they can be
metabolized and exhausted out of body by macrophage.
The possible side effects may be caused by the use of 532nm
laser to remove red pigment:
①. The surface of skin becomes pale, the scarfskin becomes
putrescence, and it may cause characteristic pigment loss or
pigmentation.
②. The treatment parts become red and swollen, subcutaneous
tissues present purpura, and the over injury may cause scab.
The recovery time is about 20 to 60 days varies from person
to person according to individual distinction.
When operators take the methods of 532nm laser to remove
brownish red pigment, they should apply small energy density,
namely large facula, close distance treatment, and adopt the
methods of multiple treatments to deal with the relative deep
pigment layer. The interval of each treatment is no less than two
months.
Before treatment, operators should explain these situations to
customers. The treatment may have side effects. There may
contain ferric ion in very few colorant, after ferric ion absorbed
laser, it can transform into iron oxide, cause the tattoo color
become black and darker, and result in treatment failure.
After treatment, customers should avoid touching water,
touching and others for fear of infection, protect themselves from
solarization for fear of pigmentation.
Human eyes are very sensitive to 532nm laser. The dispersion
or projectivity of laser to human eyes can result in impaired
vision or permanent blindness. So customers must wear laser
goggles during the treatment to protect customers’ eyes. The
irrelevant personnel should leave the treatment room.

tap water】into the equipment before using it, or it may cause the
permanent damage to the equipment.
