OCEAN & RIVER FACTS:
Our oceans are littered
with plastic and other
waste from developed
and developing nations
in proportion to
treatment or lack
thereof. Cargo ships
ply the oceans to
deliver necessary
goods, in the process
spilling goods from
time to time or even
sinking.
Rivers are the lifeblood of centered communities. They feed the seven
seas, naturally cleaning the land – except where man intervenes.
There will be more toxic plastic than fish in the oceans by 2050 if
something is not done to reverse human pollution.

INTRODUCING
THE SEAVAX
The SeaVax from Bluebird
Marine Systems (BMS) is a
versatile solar and wind
powered platform that may
be deployed as blue water
fleets or in navigable
waterways.
This state of the art vessel
may be developed for other
specialist duties, such as for
the containment of oil spills,
or collecting larger floating
objects, but is designed to
grade and filter plastic from
seawater.

UNDERSTANDING THE PROBLEM
In order to solve a
problem, you need to
understand it.
What appears as plastic
on our shores is just the
tip of the iceberg.
Pollution is all around us.
It ends up in the oceans
because of land drainage
and rivers.
Almost every human on earth contributes to ocean waste.
That waste is poisoning our food supplies and killing
marine species – so choking our planet.

THE SOLUTION
There is no single
solution. As with many
issues, this problem will
require a multi-stranded
approach if we are to
deal with our dirty
habits.
The human race cannot
afford the manpower or
fossil fuels to rid our
rivers and oceans of the
waste we create,
without warming the
climate significantly.
Enter robotics. Link robotics with energy
harvesting from nature, and the problem
begins to look containable.

DEVELOPING THE CONCEPT
In January of
2015, BMS
started building a
test-bed model.
In November of
2015 the concept
was unveiled in
London at
Innovate UK.
We should like to
develop solutions
worldwide, for
rivers and oceans.
.
In partnership with local enterprise SeaVax
might tackle serious problem areas, like that
pictured above, to improve the quality of life
locally and conserve the environment.

RIVER WORKHORSE
Rivers such
as the Holy
Mother
Ganga, might
benefit
immediately
from SeaVax
survey and
waste data
patrols.
The Ganges
is navigable
for around
1,450 miles
from
Allahabad to
the Bay of
Bengal.
Once waste areas are known in any river with
geographic precision, BMS might recommend and
develop workable solutions.

ABOUT BLUEBIRD MARINE SYSTEMS
BMS was formed in
2013, to promote clean
technology on land and
water.
On incorporation, BMS
acquired trademark,
patent and other IP
design rights in
connection with our
stated intentions.
We keep abreast of the latest
technology and potential problems that
we may be able to help with locally and
internationally.

FACILITIES
We have our own workshops and equipment to be able to develop
concepts quickly and at a fraction of the cost of other R&D concerns
or mainstream manufacturers.
We work with academic institutions and other subcontracting
technology providers in the UK to refine world class solutions –
aiming for a better place to live in and a truly sustainable circular
economy.
We wish to work internationally with Governments to establish clean
up facilities locally and coordinate international efforts.
This could include building of SeaVax craft locally, to include the
setting up of a local pollution operations command centre with global
information sharing.
