Gameplay & Sign up Procedures When 6 courts are in play If attendance reaches 24-39 participants, ensure all matches played are in doubles format If attendance reaches 40-59 participants, ensure all matches are played to 9 points If attendance reaches 60+ participants, ensure all matches are played to 7 points When 3 courts are in play If attendance reaches 12-19 participants, ensure all matches are played in doubles format If attendance reaches 20-29 participants, ensure all matches are played to 9 points If attendance reaches 30+ participants, ensure all matches are played to 7 points Whiteboard Sign Up Court sign up is based off a next in play # which will mimic the “now serving” ticket system. The “next up #” will always be increasing and the lowest number on the whiteboard will always be the next group in play. Fill your name, group # and self-assessed skill ranking (silver/gold) in the corresponding play box. Once your group enters a court, erase your names and numbers off the board and place the next lowest # into the “next up” box. Individual participants can sign into any box which requires players, but your name can only be on the board once. For example, play boxes are filled with 6 groups, numbered 1-6. The “next up” group is #1. When group #1 enters a court, that group erases their names off the board and switch the next up number to the lowest number on the board IE #2. The empty play box can now be filled with 4 new names and will be labelled group #7
