Job Description Job title: Status: Reports to: Location: Hours: Holidays: Internal Communications Manager Full-time Karen Heaven 100 Leman Street London E1 8EU Start time: 09:00 am, End time: 05:30 pm Monday – Friday 25 days excluding Bank holidays Will also be paid for Bank holidays Overall purpose of the job: Contributing to the creation and launch of a brand new internal communications strategy and running employee engagement workshops The role will touch on all communication channels, electronic and physical and will focus on communicating information that touches on company change and growth, and employee information and stories. It will help to support and underpin the development of the company’s culture through encouraging the right behaviours In this role you will be responsible for providing end-to-end internal communications support to employees across Exponential-e. You will interface closely with HR, Finance and The Board of Exponential-e o Communication channels being, and not exclusive to: the Intranet, Chatter, TV Screens, Internal newsletters, email and company events You will also be part of the content writing team in Exponential-e writing blog, posts, eshot copy and website content in line with business requirements Key responsibilities for this job: Implementing successful internal/change communication and employee engagement techniques Planning and implementation of the internal communications strategy to help drive employee engagement Writing, editing and proof reading all communication collateral Guiding senior colleagues to ensure employee engagement Developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders Implementing internal launch and change initiatives Assisting with company-wide campaigns Measuring and evaluating success of internal change communication Updating content on the intranet, Chatter, TV screens and internal noticeboards – as Advising on appropriate channels of communication and creating/editing marketing campaign content. Liaison with 3rd party PR agency and marketing team members as appropriate to manage and help support crisis communications Helping to organise company-wide employee events Writing and distributing quarterly business updates 1 Job Description Website and other marketing content generation as required Any other fair and reasonable task or duty assigned to you by your Manager, or other senior Exponential-e Ltd staff member. Knowledge and experience required: You will be a strong and creative writer where you have tailored messaging to specific audience types and keen to develop a career within internal communications. You will be comfortable communicating and influencing senior stakeholders and can be from a pure communications background or a wider marketing background where you have developed internal communications. Strong verbal and written skills. Good multi-tasking skills. Confident communicator. Exceptional stakeholder manager Demonstrate a ‘passion’ and excellent standard of employee communications. An ability to pay attention to detail. Good team player who is used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines. The job: Is situated in a challenging environment which is busy and at times pressurised, but which is also fun, and the staff are friendly. The Exponential-e atmosphere is that of a team and active participation with all staff is necessary during the daily execution of this role.
