We have nearly 200 competitors from 15 schools
competing today. Good Luck to all of you!

I would like to thank all todays’ judges and officials without whom today
would not happen. Thanks also to everyone behind the scenes who have
worked hard to make today a success, especially the catering team who
have fed us so well today.
Also to RSC Trampoline Club whose support today is invaluable providing
equipment, judges and valuable expertise. Thank you without your help
today would not have happened.

 If in the unlikely event of the fire alarm sounding
please leave by the nearest useable exit and meet on
the ‘top pitch’ outside of the sports hall.

during the day. Your co-operation to keep to time is much appreciated.
A guide to Trampolining
Each pupil will compete two 10 bounce routines, a set routine, listed
below and a voluntary routine which can be any 10 skills. For the IAPS
competition the maximum tariff allowed is 5.0. Each skill has a tariff
depending on its rotation and twisting elements e.g. a front somersault
tucked has a 0.5 tariff and a front drop 0.1.

Total 0.7
The judges score each move out of 0.5 with 0.0 being judged as a perfect
skill and 0.5 unrecognizable. These 10 scores are added up and
deducted from 10.0 leaving an execution mark for the routine. An average
score is in the 7’s, any pupils scoring high 8’s are showing great style,
control, consistency of height and stretch. For the pupils voluntary the
tariff of the routine is also added.
Teams consist of 3 or 4 pupils, the 3 highest set scores and voluntary
scores are added up. The highest scoring team are the winners.
