Single Bar Pile Cropper
For cutting square pre-cast single reinforcement piles, The Pile Cropper
is light and easy to use.
The Pile Cropper is the chosen equipment when
cutting square, pre-cast, single reinforcement
bar piles. It is lowered onto the pile and using the
excavators in-board hydraulics to operate the
jaw, it cuts the pile every 200mm, causing the
concrete to break away, exposing the rebar and
a level finish. All that is left is to cut the rebar to
the required height.

The Power Cropper
The Power Cropper is used for ultra fast pile reduction and has two functions
for cutting pre-cast, four bar piles.
The Power Cropper is a very powerful machine
specially designed to be used in any application
including trenches and other confined spaces.
It is used by being suspended from the dipper arm
of an excavator to achieve one of the following:
Function 1: The Power Cropper can break off the
pile and rebar in one go to enable you to rapidly
reduce the pile to a desired level, then dump the
waste straight into a dumper or allocated site area.
Function 2: The Power Cropper is then used to
‘nibble’ the pile, causing the concrete to fracture
and leaving the rebar exposed.

The Multi-Bar Cropper
Used to cut down square pre-cast piles with four to eight rebar.
The Multi-Bar Cropper is the chosen piece of
equipment when cutting square pre-cast piles
with up to eight rebar.
It is suspended from the dipper arm of a 360°
excavator and is powered by the excavators
in-board hydraulics. The cropper is lowered over
the pile in 300m increments until finished level is
achieved.

The CFA Cropper
The fast, safe method of reducing cast in-situ, circular, concrete piles.
The CFA Cropper will cut circular concrete piles from 300mm diameter and upwards of
1200mm. It’s modular design allows it to be adjusted to suit different pile sizes on site.
Using the CFA pile cropper, an average 300mm circular pile can be reduced to your
required level in as little as 3 minutes, compared to an average 45 minutes when manually
cut using hammers and breakers.

The CHD Cropper
This cropper is designed to cut CHD or ‘corkscrew’ piles.
The CHD Cropper has been especially designed
to suit CHD or ‘corkscrew’ piles but can in some
cases be used for contiguous or seacant piles.
This unique cropper has the power and strength
to remove the outside fins of the pile whilst
leaving the rebar unhurt.
This cropper is very powerful and has the weight
to match, therefore we recommend a minimum
16 tonne excavator to carry and power this
machine safely.

This cropper has been successfully used in the housing industry when house
footings have to be kept to a minimum, making considerable savings on concrete.
The Trench Cutter is used for cutting 300 – 400mm
piles in a trench of only 700mm wide.

Used for cutting cast in-situ piles ranging from 300mm to 750mm leaving the
rebar intact.
The 4 Jaw Cropper has been designed for all
four blades to move together, which means
no alterations have to be made on site to the
cropper when cutting different sizes of pile.
The 4 Jaw Cropper is suspended from the

The Mega 4 Jaw Cropper
Used for cutting cast in-situ piles ranging from 750mm to 900mm leaving the
rebar intact.
The Mega 4 Jaw Cropper is one of the largest
croppers in the fleet, cutting piles up to 900mm.
The four blades move in unison to crop and
hold the pile, allowing the operator to dump the
waste in one fluid movement.
The minimum excavator required to handle this
cropper is 20t due to the size and weight of the
machine. Chains are included in the hire cost.
