WATER EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR

justice, freedom and dignity for all. We are currently looking for a Water Exercise Instructor to teach an Aqua
Fusion class on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 AM with opportunities for additional class times for the right person.
YWCA St. Paul Water Exercise Instructors develop and lead safe, effective and engaging classes for YWCA St.
Paul Health and Fitness Center members and guests. They deliver exceptional customer service, build strong
relationships and help promote health and well-being. In this role you will:






Develop safe, effective and engaging water exercise classes to ensure class members’ goals are met.
Monitor and instruct class members, educating, informing and providing alternatives.
Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to needs and concerns.
Engage with class members before and after class, building relationships.
Keep accurate class attendance records.
Respond and follow YWCA St. Paul aquatics program safety guidelines.
The successful candidate must have:






Minimum of one- year experience teaching water exercise classes.
Certified in Red Cross First Aid and current CPRPR/AED certification.
Nationally recognized certification in water fitness/water exercise.
Specialty certification related to type of water exercise class taught.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to members and guests.
