Impact Invest Scandinavia invites foreign born entrepreneurs to apply to c/o Business
program before end of August 2016.
Impact Invest is the first impact investor network in the Nordics. We are an intermediary
connecting companies with investors, funds and business angels. We are part of a
global network with global deals through our partner Toniic, an international network of
impact investors.
‘c/o Business’ is our acceleration program combined with investment readiness module,
targeting foreign born entrepreneurs, mainly refugees, who have started, or are
interested in starting their own scalable business in Skåne.
Moving to a new country is a challenge, and starting a new business is an even bigger
challenge due to language barrier, lack of business contacts and networks, and of
course lack of access to financial support.
We value your experience in running a business in a different part of the world and we
think that you can contribute positively to the growth in Skåne. We will support you to
start, re-start or grow your business here. Our focus will be on providing you with the
best business advisory support, giving you the right connections and making you ready
for the right investment.
‘c/o Business’ program is designed by Impact Invest Scandinavia and is delivered in
collaboration with the professional business advisors of Innovation Skåne
(www.innovationskane.com).
‘c/o Business’ program takes place over five months (part time). After that, you will be
assigned to a mentor who will support you for an additional six months.
Important Dates
•
July 15th: Call for proposals
•
August 31st: Deadline for proposals
•
Sept 2016: Screening, final selection, admission and start of the program
•
Feb 2017: End of the program’s shared and individual modules and the start of
individual mentorship for six months.
•
June 2017: Pitching to investors by companies deemed to be prepared for this.

You will fulfill the eligibility criteria only if all of the below conditions are met.

You are living in Sweden for less than 5 years
You are a holder of a residency permit, either temporary or permanent (or very
likely you will obtain one within coming 6 months)
You are fluent in English
You have previous entrepreneurial experience or you can show that you have
made entrepreneurial efforts since your arrival to Sweden, in preparation for
starting your business here.
