Label the three protein complexes and the two mobile electron carriers, Q and cyt c. 3. Label ATP synthase enzyme. 4. Show the electron donor NADH. 5. Show the electron donor FADH2. 6. Show the electron acceptor O2, and the formation of water. 7. Color the pathway of electrons from NADH through the chain. (How is the pathway of electrons from FADH2 different?) 8. Show the “pumping” of protons against their gradient into the intermembrane space. 9. Show the flow of protons down their gradient through ATP synthase. 10. Record the approximate “exchange rates” for NADH and FADH2; how much ATP is obtained from one NADH? from one FADH2?
