 Form lowercase letters correctly
 Use the sounds we know to write words
 Write simple sentences eg. The cat sat on the
mat.
 Recognise rhyming words eg cat, sat, bat. In,
grin, pin, thin.
We are learning to:
 Use positional language eg on, under, through,
below, beside
 Say when they are next to, behind, in front of
something
 Use language related to money eg this banana
cost me 50p
 Use language related to time eg it will be
lunchtime soon. We do PE on Friday afternoon.
 Count things to 10, then 20 and beyond
