Contite ® Membrane T.A. HIGH PERFORMANCE TORCH APPLIED SHEET MEMBRANE DESCRIPTION Contite Membrane T.A. is a bitumen plastomeric waterproofing membrane manufactured from bitumen and selected polymers blended together to obtain excellent heat, UV resistance and waterproofing properties. The polymerized bitumen is coated on to a dimensionally stable reinforcement core of non-woven spun bond polyester rot-proof fabric. The membrane has excellent tensile & tear strength and has high fatigue and puncture resistance. USES & ADVANTAGES Contite Membrane T.A. is used as a waterproofing/damp proofing membrane for protection of various substrates in a range of applications which include the following:• Bridges & tunnels. • Airport aprons & ramp area. • Pile heads. • Basements. • Concrete foundations & footings. • Sunken slabs. • Terraces, balconies & patios. • Roofs. Contite Membrane T.A. has the following advantages: • High resistance to positive water & vapor pressure. • High tensile and tear strength. • High puncture and fatigue resistance. • Excellent flexibility. • Accommodates structural movement. • Good dimensional stability under tension. • Resists water borne chemicals.
