1. Introduction
The following document provides you with information on how to log in to EDAMIS when
you already have an account, how to create an account as well as how to reset a
password. The acronym ECAS which stands for European Commission Authentication
System, will be replaced by the name EU Login.
Up to now, in order to log in to EDAMIS, you needed a username and password. The
new system will only require an email and password.
These changes will be implemented on the 06 October 2016. On this date, it is intended
to replace the ECAS authentication system with the new EU Login system.
Please be aware that from that day on, you can only use your e-mail address and
password to log on to EDAMIS.
