INCJ and NEDO signed a mutual cooperation agreement
to create new industries
Tokyo, February 20, 2015–Innovation Network Corporation of Japan (“INCJ”) and
New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (“NEDO”) announced today we
have signed a mutual cooperation agreement with the aim creating new industries. INCJ and NEDO
seek to create new industries through cooperation in the following areas:
1.
Commercialization of the outcome of technology development
NEDO furnishes information regarding the details of R&D projects supported by NEDO to
achieve commercialization. INCJ provides information and advice regarding technology
needs based on international market trends, as well as on the perceived challenges of
technology commercialization. Both NEDO and INCJ aim to implement and achieve
specific business projects.
2.
Promotion of industrial technology
NEDO and INCJ will work cooperatively to create new industries through the promotion
of industrial technology with sharing both knowledge and expertise in industrial and
technological trends.
3.
Establishment of review committee
To promote items 1 and 2 above, INCJ and NEDO will establish a review committee
composed of executives from both organizations.
