NEWSLETTER FRIDAY 7 OCTOBER. ISSUE 5. HOUSE POINT CHALLENGE During September, children have been able to win House Points by getting changed quickly and silently for PE. It has meant that our PE lessons are much longer than they used to be as the children are spending much less time getting changed. At the end of the September the House Points are: 4th - Bannister 51 3rd - Radcliffe 55 2nd - Freeman 56 1st - Thompson 81 ROSENDALE COMMUNITY PROJECT – FRIDAY 21 OCTOBER All year groups are working on a project about their local community. Children have been thinking about what they like and how they would like to improve their community. On Friday 21 October all parents and carers are invited to come into school from 2.50pm to see a presentation of their work. Attending the presentation will be our local councillors and children will be feeding back their views to them. EARLY PICK UP If you need to pick up your child early from school please can you inform the school office, as well as your class teacher. You can email the office on [email protected]. If possible please make doctor and dentist appointments outside of school hours. I appreciate that this is not always possible, but it does prove disruptive when children are picked up from class during the day. Thank you for your co-operation. ABSENCE FROM SCHOOL If your child is going to be absent from school please can you inform the school office before 9.30am. We are required to follow up on all unreported non-attendance. Please make sure you have the office phone number saved into your phone, the number is 0208 670 4962.
