• Ideally swimming pools should have a pH level of between 7.2 and 7.6.
• Low pH causes:
- Corrosion of equipment
- Smarting eyes
- Chlorinous smells
- Skin irritation
CO2 from CryoService combined with HTH provides the most accurate control of pH as they are closest to the pH balance and are therefore effected less by minor imbalances.
Sodium Hypochrorite and Hydrochloric Acid have a much greater range from the pH balance and the smallest error in dosing could cause a significant impact on the pH control.
