The SEPE (State Public Employment Service) and the Public Employment Services of the Autonomous Regions conform the National Employment System –a group of the structures, measures and actions needed to promote employment policies. The most representative business organisations and trade unions are also involved. One of the key goals of the National Employment System is to ensure the implementation of the employment activation measures and the unemployment protection policies together with the unity of the labour market all over the Spanish territory and its integration into the European single market, as well as the free movement of workers.
