The Society for the Study of Occupation: USA, The Canadian Society of Occupational Scientists, & The International Society for Occupational Science are soliciting abstracts for a joint
conference. This conference seeks to advance ideas and to foster collaborative work by bringing together an international group of scholars who share an interest in advancing empirical,
theoretical, and methodological knowledge related to the study of occupation. We are inviting
a broad range of disciplines to contribute to this conference including researchers and scholars in occupational science, occupational therapy, sociology, anthropology, psychology, gerontology, public health, policy science, and related disciplines of study.
In addition to the main conference theme of Globalization and Occupational Science: Partnerships, Methods and Research, the conference will highlight 3 sub-themes: 1. International
connections in the study of occupation 2. Meaningful connections in the study of occupation
3. Methodologies to advance the study of social issues
