How to get to “Gostiny Dvor” metro station (it takes 10-20 minutes)
By Underground Metro (*look at the map on the other side of this paper):
- get to «Mayakovskaya» metro station, go down the escalator
- take a train (to the left from the escalator), go out at the next (first) stop - “Gostiny Dvor” station.
- go down the connecting passage in the centre to the “Nevsky Prospect” station
- after you have come downstairs to the “Nevsky Prospect” station (after that there are two variants):
1 VARIANT: Everyday (accept weekdays (working days) from 17:00 till 19:00):
- turn to the left (search for the signpost «WAY OUT to the Mikhaylovskaya street») and go up the escalator.
- go out from the metro (the exit will be to pedestrian underpass), at the first turn to the right - go up.
There will be a square in front of you, where you can find a lot of guides and excursion booths.
2 VARIANT: Weekdays (working days) from 17:00 till 19:00
- turn to the right (search for the signpost «WAY OUT to the Nevsky Prospect and Griboedova Channel Emb.)
- go up the escalator (to the left)
- go out from the metro, and then go to the left by the Nevsky Prospect to the nearest pedestrian underpass.
Go over to the opposite side of the street. In front of you will see the square, where you can find a lot of guides
and excursion booths.
By bus or trolleybus (* look at the map on the other side of this paper):
- use any bus or trolleybus on the Nevsky Prospect which goes in the direction of the Hermitage.
- go out at the second stop. The name of the stop is «Gostiny Dvor».
