EOC (End of Course Assessment) Information Effective June 2014: EOC’s (End of Course Assessments) are taken in the spring and results are returned from the state in mid to late June. When results are received by a school district, they will be applied to each EOC course for both the student’s first and second semester grade as 30% of that final grade to be adjusted according to the assessment result. Thereby EOC course grades as they are reported on student’s report cards are now deemed by the school district as “temporary” grades, subject to change when EOC assessment grades are calculated in. Temporary grades are marked on report cards with an (*) symbol and a corresponding note. The following are the names of the assessments and the courses by code for 2015. The state’s goal is that all courses will eventually have an EOC. Algebra 1
