Players need to log in with their own password to nominate ie mum cannot log in with her
membership number and password to nominate her child.
Dear Club/Zone Secretaries
Please see attached a “how to” document for players wishing to nominate for State and National
events utilising the online database. This also encompasses their nominated horses and represents a
change from the current practice of sending in nomination forms, which is fraught with problems
and a lot of manual work. No doubt it will take players a while to get used to this, it has been in use
in other states for some time. Please call me with any questions, I’m here to help.
Nominations for 2017 Qld. Representative Teams
Nominations are now open for the 2017 Qld. Representative Teams for the Barastoc Series,
Muswellbrook Show and the Albury Junior Classic and close 15 August 2016, it is expected that
teams will be announced after the junior and intermediate trials at Wandoan 17-18 September.
Expressions of Interest for the Junior & Intermediate Trials Wandoan 17-18 September
Following the motion carried at the 2015 QPA AGM for “the QPA to host junior and intermediate
trials annually at a central location” a Junior and Intermediate Trial is to be held 17-18 September at
the Wandoan Polocrosse Club. Could players planning to attend this event please register their
interest as detailed in the attached how to nominate for State or National Events document.
Please note a Women in Polox weekend is also planned for the Wandoan Trials, where specifically
tailored coaching and horsemanship clinics will be held – further details to come.
