We got a good greeting when we arrived
We felt very welcome
They introduced themselves
Some had staff badges on but not all, but it was okay as they introduced
themselves when we arrived
We signed in and wrote our D.0.B he explained why we had to do this
Ahmed and Phabian were really good they kept making me laugh
They found things for me to do
Staff told the young people off for swearing
They were all really friendly and helpful
They played games with us and got involved
They were joining in our games but at the same time they were still looking
after everyone there
I was quite nervous at the beginning but then I was socialising with people
as they were all friendly
They were relaxed but firm when they needed to be
They got different activities out for us
They showed us where the toilets were
They let a member of our group do the register

Nobody was left out
We played table tennis, bouncing the ball off the pillars!
We played pool
There was a Play Station and loads of games
I played on the Play Station with Phabian and then with some other people
I’d just met
They had DJ equipment which was good but I didn’t know how to do it
There was lots for girls to do
They had arts and crafts activities out
They were doing a boxing workshop but we had to leave before it started
which was a shame as we all really wanted to do it
Maybe the boxing could have started a bit earlier, an 8.30pm start is a bit
late
There wasn’t a time table on the wall but they told us what we could do,
what they had done over the last few weeks and what was happening the
next week. They said they were doing healthy lifestyles so that’s why they
were doing boxing
I painted Phabian’s nails!
We would have stayed longer if we could
There were Young Inspectors posters up on the walls
Everyone was all starting to mix together and talk as we were leaving as
they were about to start the boxing
We had lots of choice
There were activities for older ones and younger ones

Everyone was supervised
The staff made us feel safe
Everything was working
Everything looked brand new like it had just come out of the packaging
There was loads of space
Loads of chairs all stacked up
It looked like they really cared about the equipment
It was okay if the people(young people) looked a bit like they didn’t like new
people because the staff kept you at ease
You could smell the smoke a bit inside as everyone was outside the door
smoking
Some of the other young people were nice
Toilets were nice; the doors locked and had fancy soap!
Someone was rolling a fag in the kitchen but the staff told him to go outside
and said if he did it again he would be asked to leave.
General Comments:
 It’s the best youth club I’ve been to
 I really wanted to stay
 I want to come back next week
 They just need some signs
