How does DIAGNOcam work?
Carious lesion
Caries (tooth decay) is the most frequent
type of infectious diseases. Almost everyone is affected by it at least once in their
lifetime. Prevention is the best protection:
regular prophylaxis performed by your
dentist as well as thorough care at home.
The principle is very simple: when DIAGNOcam shines through a tooth,
carious lesions become visible as dark spots. The tooth functions as a light
duct, a video camera capturing the light and transmitting it live to a monitor.
