Important Information for your Visit.
For your visit to the BMW Group Plant Leipzig, please note the following.
Maximum size of a group: 25 persons.
The tour is planned according to the number
of persons you have registered. Please inform our service centre in case the number
of participants has changed.
Tours for single visitors take place in mixed
groups of up to 25 persons.
Minimum Age 6 Years/14 Years.
The required minimum age to participate in
a guided tour is 6 years (accompanied by an
adult supervisor), for guided electric vehicle
production tour 14 years.
Start of the Plant Tour.
Please register yourself at the welcome desk
15 minutes prior to the tour. Contribution
towards expenses has to be paid in advance
(cash or card).
No Animals.
Visitors are not allowed to take along animals
or pets of any kind.
Duration and Distance.
As a rule, plant tours last for about 2.5 hours.
The route leads through the production
facilities and passes through the central
building several times, involving the climbing
of stairs. The distance to be covered is about
four kilometres. We recommend comfortable
shoes.
Parking.
There is on-site parking for busses and cars
in the front of the Central Building (Guest
Entrance).
Handicapped Persons.
Parts of the tour can only be reached via
stairs. Please inform our service centre if
members of your group are handicapped.
Persons with Pacemakers/Insulin
Pumps.
Persons wearing a heart pacemaker or insulin pump are not allowed to enter the body
shop. Please inform your tour guide before
the tour starts if you are wearing such a
device.
Filming and photographing.
Visitors are not allowed to take pictures or
make films. Cameras and mobile phones
may not be used and can be placed in lockers.
Safety.
Visitors enter the plant during the production
period. You do this at your own risk. The
introductions of the guide must be followed.
Leaving the tour and the visitor path is prohibited.
Catering.
During the tour there is a refreshment break.
Visitors are not allowed to bring along or
consume other drinks or food.
No Smoking.
At the plant site, smoking is permitted only in
designated areas. During the tour, smoking
is not permitted.
Hint.
Please note that our plant tours may not be
marketed from third parties for commercial
purposes.

Public Transport:
By train no. 1,2,5 or tram no.16 from Main
Station to „Neue Messe“, change there to
Bus No. 86 to Station “BMW Werk Zentralgebäude”.

Parking:
Parking areas (also for electric vehicles) are at
the guest entrance. You‘ll get a guest parking
identity card at the reception of the central
building.
