Submission of Joint Recommendations and Amendments
We are pleased to inform you about the procedure for submitting recommendations and
amendments to the 15th European Guide and Scout Conference.
Recommendations for the European Guide and Scout Conference NOT CONCERNED WITH
work in partnership should be submitted by the announced deadline of 17 June at 2130. These
will then be combined, translated and circulated to delegations on 18 June.
Amendments to these recommendations and any proposals for amendments concerning the
Work in Partnership will be accepted as normal by the announced deadline of 19 June at 2000.
Please find attached document templates for Joint Recommendations and Amendments. These
can also be found on the conference website.
Please note that Recommendations submitted to the European Guide and Scout Conference can
also be submitted to the European Guide Conference and the European Scout Conference, and
associations should also conform with the relevant procedures for the separate conferences.
It should also be noted that Recommendations and Amendments should be signed by each
Member Organization (MO of WAGGGS) and National Scout Organization (NSO in WOSM) in
the national delegation before being submitted to the Joint Recommendations Committee. Two
signatures are required when recommendations or amendments are submitted by a SAGNO.
It would be appreciated if recommendations and amendments can be submitted both in paper
version and electronically (an electronic form - e.g. on a memory stick) to reduce the workload of
the Joint Recommendations Committee. Recommendations and amendments can also be
submitted to [email protected] and [email protected] by the respective deadlines
