fallen after your area has been completed, please
call Public Works Operations at 942-6743 to be
included in the final collections list; if crews have
already left the area, your pile will be collected at
the end of the season.

The Department of Public Works provides scheduled
leaf collection services beginning Monday, November
25, 2013 weather permitting, concluding the week of
January 1st.
Leaf Collection Guidelines


Unscheduled Collection
Unscheduled leaf collection is conducted at the discretion of the Street Supervisor and focuses on areas with
high concentrations of leaves, narrow streets and/or
little or no placement area for leaf piles. The unscheduled collection concludes prior to the scheduled area
collection.
Protecting Grass
Grass is dormant at this time of year and should not be
damaged by these temporary piles if not raked out too
far in advance of scheduled leaf pick up; however, the
potential safety, drainage and ecological problems
caused by raking leaves into the street far outweigh the
benefits of protecting the grass at the front edge of your
property. We greatly appreciate your cooperation.
