Quick Start Guide to e-Learning in OLM

In order to logon to e-Learning in OLM, you need a username and password.
If you don’t already have one, you may need to contact your local system
administrator.
Once you have login details, follow these steps:
1) Open the system (you may have a shortcut on your desktop or in your
‘favourites’. If not, go to https://esr.mhapp.nhs.uk
1) Click the ‘Play’ button on the course you wish to play
2) Enter your login details & click Login.
To search for a course, you can use the ‘Search’ field at the top *(1), or the
Competence Requirements search on the left *(2).
Searching:
1) Type in a word or short phrase and then click on the ‘Go’ button or click on
a search icon
in the Competence Requirements section.
3) Click e-Learning User
If you are using the Competence Requirements search, follow all the steps
below.
If your competencies are up to date and you are searching for other courses
go to Step 5).
2) Click on Details.
2) Complete the course (ensure you play all slides)
3) Some courses have multiple sessions. Click the ‘+’ icon next to the
current session to expand the list—ensure you play all sessions.
4) Click e-Learning
3) If it is a Certification, click on Subscribe
4) Click Finish
5) Click the ‘Choose or Enroll’ icon
Note on Internet Access: If you wish to access e-Learning remotely (i.e. at
home as well as your place of work) you will need to click on Request
Internet Access. This will send a request through to the person your
employer has set up to authorise (normally your line manager or the system
administrator).
Only once they have verified and confirmed this will you be able access the
system remotely by visiting https://www.nhselearning.co.uk and with your
Internet Access Username and password. Please note, for security reasons,
your Username and password will be different for accessing at work and
accessing at home.
4) Click the ‘Home’ icon at the top right when finished
6) Confirm the enrolment by clicking Apply
