therightyoucanincludethoseindividualsinyourreportingdashboardwhichwillallowyoutoaudittheir
goalplansaswell.Eventhoughyoucan’tseereports2or3levelsbelowinyourgoalshomepage,youcan
stillcascadeorlinkgoalstothembysearchingforthemusingthe“FindOtherEmployees”optionfromthe
cascadepagethatlistsyourdirectreports.

Yes,youcanexportreportsfromthegoalsdashboardintheReportstab.First,gototheReportstab,select
thelinkfortotalnumberofgoalsunderthegoaldistributionsection.Youcanclickonanyofthelinksto
gettomorespecificdata(onlythosethatdon’thavegoals,etc)oranyofthechartsections(toseeonly
unalignedgoalsorjustInitiatives,etc).Then,choosetheExporttoExcelbuttontoopenorsavethedatain
anexcelfile.
ü Whatisthedifferencebetweencascading,linkingandassigninggoals?
Supervisors(thosewithdirectreports)aretheonlypeoplewhocancascadegoalstotheirdirectreports.
TheycannotcascadegoalsuptotheirSupervisors.Allemployeescanlinkgoalstotheirdirectreportsif
theyhavethemortheirSupervisors(onelevelup).Cascadedandlinkedgoalscanbeeditedbyboththe
creatorandthosethatreceivedthegoalfromanotherperson.SupervisorsandMatrixManagerscan
assigngoalsNonecanoccuriftheSupervisor(thosewithdirectreports)havenotenteredtheirgoalsin
SuccessFactors.

yourgoalplan.
WhenIdeleteagoalwillitdeleteinalltheplansthatIhavecascaded,linkedorassigneditto?
Ifyoudeleteagoalyouhavecascadedorlinkedtootheremployees(oragoalthathasbeencascadedor
linkedtoyou)itwillnotberemovedinthoseemployees’goalplan.Eachemployeeshouldremovethegoal
intheirowngoalplans.Supervisorswillnotbenotifiedwhenemployeesdeleteagoal.Ifagoalwas
assigned,itcanonlybedeletedbythecreatorandifthecreatordeletesthegoalitwillberemovedfrom
allgoalplans.
