Draft BREEAM International New Construction 2016
Introduction
This paper provides an overview of the draft BREEAM International New Construction 2016 scheme, including the
timeline for launch and how to engage in the stakeholder consultation process for the scheme.
The paper also includes a summary of the technical content and the reference scheme that each issue is based upon.
BREEAM International New Construction 2016
The draft BREEAM New Construction 2016 scheme provides an updated version of BREEAM for the assessment of all
new buildings around the world.
Consultation process and timeline
The public consultation on the BREEAM International New Construction scheme will last for a month from 23rd
December to midnight on the 1st February 2016. During this period BRE Global welcomes all comments from across
the industry on the scheme. Please send any comments you have to us in the spreadsheet provided and email it to
[email protected] marking your subject ‘Comments on Draft BREEAM International NC 2016’.
The following highlights the timetable for the consultation process and the on-going publication and go-live of the
BREEAM International Refurbishment and Fit-out scheme.
