1. Much has been written in popular magazines about aerobic training and how it is the only way one can burn fat. Explain this belief, evaluate it and tell why it may or may not be appropriate. Are there other ways to burn fat? If so, what are some of them? The idea of losing weight and improve fitness levels by only aerobic training was planted in people’s minds for years. Caused by continuous articles given by a huge number of sport and fitness magazines, also the service of poor trainers in some fitness clubs. After weeks, and weeks of aerobic training on a treadmill, bike, and the rowing machine. People are still the same or worse. They spent too much time on going to the gym, and doing aerobic training, but did not get the desired result. These clients are forced to do whatever it takes to improve their fitness levels, and lose body fat by only doing aerobic training. Once they are convinced, and yet remain the same they just start to give up. The only blamed people here are either their trainers, or whoever guided them through their journey. Sometimes aerobic exercises are not the best choice to lose body fat. For instance when you are stresses or having a bad day. “Aerobic training increases the proportion of fat in a stresses person” so if an individual is stressed, engaging in aerobic training will add more stress, therefore adding more fat. Making it difficult to achieve your desired goal. There are many ways to improve your fitness levels as well as to loss body fat without stressing yourself or the need of engaging in aerobic exercises. Such as: resistance training, weight lifting , and interval training “Studies have shown that interval training and weight lifting are more effective in reducing body fat. While enhancing both the aerobic, and anaerobic capacity.”
