LINKING MEDIASITE IN BLACKBOARD
With the Mediasite Building Block for Blackboard, your Mediasite-recorded lectures and presentations
can be easily published to Blackboard. Students then have convenient anytime access to your rich media
presentations directly within your Blackboard course, including fully-synchronized audio, video, and
presentation materials from PowerPoint and electronic whiteboards to document cameras or other
presentation devices. Viewing Mediasite lectures within Blackboard requires nothing more than the
student’s web browser.
1. Go to the content area of your
course where you want to create a
link to your Mediasite presentation.
Under Tools, choose Link to
Mediasite Content:
2. In the Create Links to Mediasite
Content window:
a) Select Individual Presentations
b) In the Search box, type a
keyword contained in the title of
your Mediasite presentation
c) Click on the button Search
Presentations
d) Any of your Mediasite
presentations with the keyword
in the title will then be
displayed. Check the box to
select the desired presentation.

3. After you click on Submit, a
confirmation will appear. Then click
on OK.
4. The link to your Mediasite
presentation will then appear:
