RECEIVING GIFTS
I recently received a gift – two actually, as the second one was for my
friend and travelling companion.
The gift was a book of poetry written by an American lady we met on a
trip to Canada. We have kept in touch since then by regular emails. The
book consists of scripture and an accompanying poem written by our
friend Mary.
I thought of gifts and the part they play in our lives, from babyhood and
forever after. Some are treasured over a lifetime, some only briefly.
The Magi brought gifts to the infant Jesus - the most highly prized from
far off lands.

Take a risk this Lent and allow yourself to be challenged by the scriptures.
Kids' Church Term 1
Term 1 has began with three leaders and helpers.
The theme is "All About Me" prepared by Judith Merrell
The series works through - being able to see, talk, hear, touch, taste, move, think make,
smell and grow: each one is related to a bible story and then giving thanks to God for
