3. INSTALLATION
A. DETERMINE LEFT SIDE OR RIGHT SIDE
PIVOT
Determine whether the door will pivot on the left or the
right side. Make certain that the door path is free of
obstructions.
To convert between a left-hand or right-hand door, turn the
door upside down.
All of the following illustrations are for a right pivot
door (panel swings open toward the right).

Pivot Body
B. REMOVE GLASS PANEL FROM FRAME
NOTE:
Right Pivot
Capscrew
Two people should perform installation steps.
After determining if door is left or right side pivot, carefully
lean door upright against a solid surface.
Nut Plate
While supporting the glass panel, unscrew the top
capscrew with 3/16” hex wrench, and remove the pivot
insert, glass spacer and nut plate. The top pivot remains
inserted in the pivot body attached to the frame.

D. MEASURE SHOWER OPENING WIDTH
Measure shower opening width at a minimum of three
locations, starting at the bottom. Note the dimension that
is most narrow.
NOTE:
If a steel tape is used, be sure to add the width
of the case to the measurement.
NOTE:
The bottom of the door frame should not be
more than 1/8” out of level over the entire
width of the door. Shim if necessary.

E. ADJUST DOOR FRAME WIDTH FOR
INSTALLATION
3/8”
Adjust the door frame 3/8” less than the narrowest
dimension taken in the previous step.
Alternate turning the six adjustment screws evenly
on both sides to increase or decrease the door frame
width.
Turning the screws counterclockwise increases door
frame width. Turning the screws clockwise decreases the
width of the frame.

F. INSTALL DOOR FRAME INTO SHOWER
OPENING
The following installation is for compression-fit installation
of the door frame; if optional wall mounting screw
installation is desired, refer to step G. for Optional
Installation with Wall Mounting Screws.
Place the door frame into the shower opening.
Adjust the top and bottom adjustment screws counterclockwise until the full length of all the bubble seals are
compressed against the shower wall.
Use a level while adjusting to insure that the door is plumb
and square.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not
overtighten adjustment screws.
After the door frame is installed into the shower opening,
adjust the middle adjustment screws, being careful not to
overtighten as this may cause the frame to bow.
Be sure the door frame is square on all sides of the door.

G. OPTIONAL INSTALLATION WITH WALL
MOUNTING SCREWS
CAUTION: Risk of injury. Wear Safety Glasses.
The following steps explain installing wall jambs using
hollow wall anchors.
After adjusting the door frame, mark the three hole
locations through the locator holes in each wall jamb and
expander jamb. From the outside of the shower, mark the
location of the wall jambs and bottom frame of the door.
Mark Hole Locations
Remove the door frame and lightly center punch the three
hole locations on each wall. On ceramic tile, use a center
punch to nick the surface glaze. Tap the punch lightly with
a hammer so as not to crack the tile.
Drill all six holes into the wall with a 5/16” drill bit. Use a
5/16” masonry bit for ceramic tile.
After drilling holes, thoroughly clean the shower floor
ledge and wall. Insert the hollow wall anchors into all three
5/16” drilled holes. Repeat the procedure for the other
side.
Install Screws into
Wall Anchors
Install the door frame in the shower opening and align the
locator holes with the location marks. Adjust the door
frame as noted in the previous step. Install three #8-18 x
2-1/2” panhead screws through each expander jamb and
wall jamb into the installed anchors in wall.
Adjust and Level Door Frame
H. RE-INSTALL GLASS PANEL
Insert the bottom pivot into the bottom pivot body of the
door frame and hold level. Re-assemble top pivot to top
pivot body, insert glass spacer into glass panel, insert
capscrew through glass spacer, re-attach nut plate and
thread capscrew into pivot insert.
Make small adjustments for squareness by shifting glass
panel and re-positioning until level.
After final adjustments have been made, hand-tighten
capscrew.

inside door handle (round face).
Slide one of the glass inserts onto the setscrew with the
flat side towards the handle and place setscrew and glass
insert into hole of glass panel.
5/16-18 x 1-1/4”
Setscrew
Slide the remaining glass insert over opposite end of the
setscrew (with raised side towards glass) and thread on
the outside handle until secure.
Outside Door
Handle
Remove the paper backing from the logo and apply to the
outside door handle (flat face).

J. FRAME COVER/DOOR SEAL
INSTALLATION
Pivot Side: Install the frame cover/door seal into the
expander jamb channel with the leg of the cover towards
the outside (dry side) of the shower.
Strike Side: Install the frame cover/door seal into the
expander jamb channel with the leg of the cover towards
the inside (wet side) of the shower.
NOTE:
Make any final adjustments by adjusting the
center adjustment screws (loosen/tighten) so
the door panel will close firmly against the
frame covers/door seals. Refer to page 5,
Adjust Door Frame Width, for adjustment
procedure. Frame covers will need to be
removed to gain access to the adjustment
screws.

K. ATTACH DECORATIVE PIVOT COVERS
Decorative Pivot Assembly
Pivot Cover
Place one of the O-rings into the groove located on the

opposite side of the glass panel.
Dampen O-ring slightly and push a decorative pivot cover
into place on both sides.
Repeat procedure for bottom pivot assembly.

L. INSTALL DRIP RAIL AND INSERT
The drip rail base should be on the bottom of the glass
panel with the flat side towards the inside (wet side) of the
shower. If the drip rail is currently located at the top of the
glass panel, slide off both pieces and push onto the
bottom of the glass panel.
Slide the drip rail insert into the longer drip rail base,
through the length of base and into the smaller drip rail
base. Position insert cut-out around the edge of the
decorative pivot cover installed on the door panel.
Drip Rail
Insert
Align each end of the drip rail insert with the ends of the
drip rail base and trim excess from each end.
Drip Rail Base
M. SEALING
Thoroughly clean all dust, dirt and grease from the bottom
frame and shower ledge surfaces to be sealed. Make sure
surfaces are dry.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Apply
silicone sealant around the outside of the door only.
Sealant applied to the inside of the door will cause
leakage and damage.
Carefully apply a bead of silicone sealant around the
outside (dry side) of door where:
1) Bottom frame meets the shower ledge.
2) Wall jambs meet the shower walls.
