Area of research
Jean Piaget was a biologist who originally studied molluscs
but moved into the study of the development of children's
understanding, through observing them (psychology).
Process of research
Jean Piaget researched the way people’s minds developed.
He later became a child psychologist studying the
developmental stages children of varying ages encounter.
Age Of Children Researched
Jean Piaget first did research on his own three children
whose names were Jacqueline, Lucienne and Laurent, but he
still needed more evidence so he decided to study children at
preschools.

Similar Studies That Follow
Findings
The study of developmental stages has transformed
tremendously since the findings of Mr. Piaget. It has been
discovered that all children encounter the same stages in life but
not necessarily at the same age or time. Children develop at their
own individual pace. There is no specific time set in children's
lives where they all encounters the same stages at the same time
as one another.
Are His Results Accurate? Do You See Them
In The Real World Or Believe Them To Be
True
Yes, I think his results are accurate. I believe this to be
true because I’ve seen babies and toddlers do the things that
Piaget noted in his research.
How Would You Propose This New
Research Study ?
I would keep in original like Piaget did, I would
observe children and take notes on the different age
groups and put them together and establish which kids
learn similar skills faster than others.
