NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. SWEEPSTAKES OPEN TO ACTIVE, REGULAR FULL-TIME HOURLY, PART-TIME
HOURLY AND SALARIED ASSOCIATES WHO WORK FOR THE HOME DEPOT AND ARE PAID THROUGH THE
HOME DEPOT’S MAIN PAYROLL SYSTEM. ASSOCIATES IN THE BENEFITS DEPARTMENT AND IN-HOUSE
BENEFITS COUNSEL ARE EXCLUDED FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS INTENDED FOR
PLAY IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY AND WILL BE GOVERNED BY U.S. LAW.
What is the $100 Shoe Sweepstakes and how do I participate?
• Test your knowledge by completing the $100 Shoe knowledge quiz here. To participate, complete the
quiz and at the end of the quiz enter your name, mailing address, email and work location by June 30,
2017 to be entered to win. In July 2017, 10 associates who participated will be randomly selected to win
$100 toward a pair of comfortable shoes.
Who is eligible to participate in the $100 Shoe Sweepstakes?
 All active U.S. associates that are paid through The Home Depot’s main payroll system (Tesseract).
Associates in the Benefits Department and in-house Benefits Counsel are excluded from the
Sweepstakes.
Can I enter more than once?
 No, you may only enter once.
What prizes can I win by entering the $100 Shoe Sweepstakes?
• Eligible associates who participate can win $100 toward a pair of comfortable shoes.
How will winners be chosen?
• Winners will be drawn at random from among all eligible entries and will be contacted as soon as
administratively possible. An associate must be in good standing and actively employed by The Home
Depot (or a subsidiary thereof) and on The Home Depot’s main payroll system (Tesseract) at the time
the prize is awarded. If the Home Depot Benefits Team cannot get in touch with a potential winner at
the contact information provided when entering the Sweepstakes, an alternate winner will be randomly
chosen. If a potential winner is no longer employed by The Home Depot at the time the prize is to be
awarded, an alternate winner will be randomly chosen.
Participation constitutes acceptance of all $100 Shoe Sweepstakes rules. Potential winners may be
required to provide proof of identity and/or eligibility before prize is awarded. Chances of winning
depend on the number of entries received.
The $100 Shoe Sweepstakes is sponsored by The Home Depot, 2455 Paces Ferry Road, Atlanta, Georgia
30339 (“Sponsor”). Entry constitutes consent to Sponsor’s use of winner’s name and work location for
advertising, marketing or promotion purposes, as permitted by law, without additional compensation to
the winner.
Entry constitutes potential winner’s acknowledgement that Sponsor and its subsidiaries, officers,
directors, employees and agents (collectively, “The Contest Entities”) have neither made, nor are in any
manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact
or in law, relative to any prize, regarding the use, value or enjoyment of the prize, including, without
limitation, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose, or an alternate winner
will be chosen. By entering the $100 Shoe Sweepstakes and/or accepting a prize, all entrants agree that
The Contest Entities will have no liability whatsoever for any damages (compensatory, direct, incidental,
consequential or otherwise), or attorney fees, with respect to, or in any way arising from the conduct of
or participation in the $100 Shoe Sweepstakes, or acceptance, use or misuse of any prize. Additional
mutually acceptable release of liability may be required. Sponsor’s decisions on all contested and
disputed matters are final and Sponsor reserves the right to alter or terminate the $100 Shoe
Sweepstakes at its sole discretion in the event of extreme, unexpected or unusual circumstances, or if
Sponsor finds that the $100 Shoe Sweepstakes program or rules have been violated or compromised.
Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the $100 Shoe Sweepstakes, or
obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Sponsor and its agents are not
responsible for late or for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by any technical or
human error which may occur in the processing of submissions for the $100 Shoe Sweepstakes.
Contest Results: The names of the winners may be obtained after July 31, 2017 by sending a selfaddressed stamped envelope to: The Home Depot, Attn: Benefits Department, 2455 Paces Ferry Road,
C-18, Atlanta, Georgia 30339.
