In active Q-switched systems, the very short individual pulse (6ns from the
Nd:YAG, 30ns from the Ruby) delivers exceptionally high peak powers (hundreds
of megawatts) to the target chromophore, resulting in an efficient photo-acoustic
effect and no thermal interaction with the skin tissue. As a result, the unwanted
pigment in the skin is fragmented into small particles which are then expelled
through the body’s normal phagocytosis process.
The Q-PLUS SERIES consists of two models: the Q-PLUS A & Q-PLUS C
